Quality policy

In order to impart quality education, the department has adopted a system of evaluation of faculty members. In every semester, feedback forms are issued to students and their suggestions are considered for the improvement of the performance of the faculty members.

About the Course

The MBA course is two years full time program. The program started in September 2009 and affiliated to Bangalore University. The present batch of student strength is 57.The students are in II semester.

Electives Offered

The unique feature of this course is that it provides for dual specialization.
Marketing and finance
HR &finance
HR & marketing.
Specialization in systems is also provided at the request of the students.

• Discussion rooms.
• Computer lab and internet facility to students.

Academic Performance

Continuous evaluation and feedback for students. Periodical tests are conducted and remedial action is taken for poor performers. Prof Banishree is taking a keen interest in this regard as academic  co-ordinator

Student Faculty Interaction

The department has adopted an effective system of mentoring. A specific schedule has been allotted as mentoring session and records are maintained.
Keen interest is taken by the faculty members in the mentoring activities.

Student Empowerment

In order to promote an atmosphere of participation, class representatives have been elected. In every semester, different students are selected as class representatives. The students can voice their opinion through class representatives. Cultural and sports representatives are selected to facilitate participation of students in cultural and sports events.

Student interaction with other institutions

• Students are being sent to other colleges to participate &interact in seminars &workshops.
• Students are actively taking part in cultural activities organized by the institution and other institutions in the city.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Extra Curricular Activities

• MBA students participate in sports and other activities.
• Managerial skill development programs are being conducted every Saturday. We are also taking care to reward the winners in various activities

Practical Orientation

Pedagogical tools are extensively used for imparting management education. Students are made in to groups and role play, case study analysis are being assigned to them. In order to motivate the students, the best teams are rewarded. Computer lab sessions have been allotted for students to update their skills.
