Department faculties have published around 30 journal papers, 80 conference papers and 07 books at National/International Level.
Faculty and Staff Development Activities
The faculties are encouraged to attend conferences, workshops, short-term courses to upgrade their knowledge. The Department also plans to organize STTP (proposal submitted to ISTE) on "Wireless Communications" and National conference on "Computer Networks" during coming semesters (proposal submitted to AICTE and CSIR). The Department encourages Technical staff to attend laboratory related workshops that are required to upgrade their knowledge. Faculty and Technical staff are also encouraged to pursue their higher education with salary and leave benefits.
Student Counseling
A student counseling mechanism is setup in the Department in order to understand the problems of students both academic and personal. One faculty advisor for every 15 students is allocated, who is responsible for conducting regular meeting with students to get suggestions for improvements in academic and Laboratory facilities. The information obtained from students through faculty advisors is utilized to enhance the quality of academics and laboratories and also solve personal problems of the students. Faculty advisor sends the progress of a student to the parents for information and guidance every month.
