TRAINING & PLACEMENT DEPARTMENT
The Training wing consistently researches and interact with the recruiters understand their expectations from prospective students and create an annual roadmap for training. The department executes the training plan and consistently tracks the student’s performance to ensure improvement through periodic assessment tests. These periodic mock assessment tests aid students to know their areas of strength which they can upgrade further, and their areas of improvement which they can focus much time on them. The Training scope includes aptitude, technical , language skills , personality development and awareness on the company. The Training Team consists of both in-house and external trainers who are trained to provide a differential learning experience focused on application oriented to the students. Thus the entire process of training unlike tradition system covers the essential techniques to solve logical and aptitude problems, Impart avenues to improvise the language and personality and more significantly enhance the competency in strengthening the technical concepts and extending the application of the concepts in real time systems thus enable them to surpass the expectations of the industry. Academic rigour coupled with training norms like Mock Tests, Group Discussions, Industry Expert talks and Alumni Addressing have equipped the students with the required skills and knowledge that the organization/company deems relevant. We are certain that our graduates would contribute to the success of the Organizations and prove to be valuable assets.
The Student forums represent the student body to the administration and provide outlets for students to be involved in meaningful activities that support the overall development of the students. Many skill enhancement initiatives are driven through the student forums so that students enjoy the learning process. Some of the initiatives include Knowledge sharing initiative, Puzzles contest, Professional Connect, Resume contest, Group discussion, formal dress contest etc.
Goals of Training
The placement wing of the department handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduating students at Reva ITM. The Placement wing gets greater acceleration with the speed of the training programs rolled out. The Placement process is initiated with a clear focus on the students of all the academic levels, all levels of the companies are contacted and invited for the campus recruitment drive which matches to all the academic levels of students. Branch specific core companies are focused equally to ensure students obtain the correct match of their passion and competency. The department is well equipped with excellent infra-structure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for Pre-Placement Talks, interviews, Group Discussions etc. are all handled by the staff at the office. The following facilities are made available for the various activities
The department extends all the required support for the recruiting organizations visiting the institute to carry out pre-placement talks which are presentations organized by the Company for students. These talks provides good understanding to the about the company expectation, opportunities for growth etc.
At Reva ITM we take pride in ensuring Company officials who visit our campus a great satisfaction in terms of campus recruitment process and student’s competency and we strive hard to maintain the tradition. Transportation arrangement and stay is provided in the Institute guest house for the recruiters.
